GFF2.3 for Windows 98
GFF2.3 now supports Windows 98. If you are using Windows 98 the addition of the 21w98 parameter to the Target is no longer necessary. Follow the instructions below to remove the 21w98 parameter in order to allow GFF2.1 to update to GFF2.3.
Choose the appropriate option depending upon how you start GFF2.
I start GFF2 by double clicking a Genline Family Finder 2 icon on my Desktop.

- Right Click on the Genline Family Finder 2 icon.
- Choose Properties.
- In the text area corresponding to Target remove 21w98 from the existing path.
- Click OK.
- Double Click the Genline Family Finder 2 icon to start the program. GFF2.1 will automatically update to GFF 2.3.
I start GFF2 by using the Start Button and Program Menu.
- Click the Start button.
- Navigate to the Genline Family Finder 2 program .
- Right Click on the Genline Family Finder 2.
- Choose Properties.
- In the text area corresponding to Target remove 21w98 from the existing path.
- Click OK.
- Start the Genline Family Finder 2 program as you normally would. GFF2.1 will automatically update to GFF 2.3.
