Parish Look-Up Service
For no charge, we will attempt to locate the parish of the person you are trying to find so that you can research using the Swedish Church Records archive. We can't promise that we will be successful but we will try.
To look-up the parish, we will look at various sources. Among the sources we will use include the following:
- Emibas CD – records for about 1.1 million persons who left Sweden between 1845 and 1930. The CD is searchable using various criteria including first name, last name, birth date, emigration date, province, parish and other criteria.
- Emiham CD - Records for 1.4 million emigrants taken from police records at port of exit (Göteborg, Malmö, Stockholm, Norrköping, Helsingborg, & Kalmar).
- 1890 and 1900 Swedish Census CDs.
