How can I check when my subscription will expire?
Sign In and View Your Log In Statistics to check your subscription expiration date. You will be able to view your subscription expiration date and the number of images you have viewed.
What Swedish Church Records are included in our archive?
Our church records archive includes records from the 16th-20th century. These
records consist of birth/baptismal, confirmation, marriage, death/burial, church
ledgers and household examination rolls. These are the main sources of genealogical
information in Sweden. In some cases we will be complementing these church records
with those kept by a government agency known as Statistics Sweden (abbreviated
as SCB).

What is the SCB material?
SCB material consists of the interpreted records from a government agency known
as Statistics Sweden (abbreviated as SCB).
Why are some record types mixed together?
genline scans film of the original church records as they are and has
no control over how these records were structured. It is common that more that
one record type or time period may be included in the same church record. For
example, Births, Deaths, and Banns and Immigration and Emigration will often
be found together spanning numerous time periods in the same church book. A
search in Genline FamilyFinder will return the sequence that the information
resides in and this sequence may also contain other record type and time periods.

When does my subscription become active?
You get immediate access to the Swedish Church Records archive once you have
ordered a subscription. If you have an active subscription the new subscription
will begin when the active subscription expires.
When does my subscription expire?
You will receive an e-mail reminder10 days before your subscription expires.
